YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth Police: Yarmouth Police responded to Wicked Waves Water Park shortly after 5:30 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, after receiving a 911 call reporting a fight involving multiple people.
An altercation reportedly began in a pool area of the water park when one of the patrons began punching other people. Water Park Security were able to control the situation and break it up. As security personnel were escorting the individual out of the park, another patron escalated the situation, reigniting the altercation, which continued in the parking lot. During the incident, one of the people involved spit blood into the face of a security supervisor.
Officers arrived and were attempting to control the situation in the parking lot and investigate what occurred when one of the individuals became physically aggressive and assaulted an officer. Additional units arrived and were able to de-escalate the situation and restore control.

Two women were arrested in connection with the incident. Megan Medeiros, 33, (r) and Sara Medeiros, 38, (l) both of Falmouth, were arrested and transported to the Yarmouth Police Department for booking.
Megan Medeiros was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. Sara Medeiros was charged with two counts of Assault and Battery and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. They were scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday at Barnstable District Court.
