Vaccine for combating rabies in wildlife being dropped by helicopter in southeastern Massachusetts

WAREHAM – The Cape Cod and SE Mass Rabies Task Force is using a helicopter drop vaccine bait packets over numerous communities in southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod on Wednesday morning (09-09-26) including Buzzards Bay, Wareham and Middleboro. The vaccine bait packets are being disbursed to reduce rabies in wildlife throughout the region.
