CHATHAM – Chatham Police report that Chatham Fire quickly knocked down a vehicle fire early Wednesday afternoon on Oval Road. No injuries were reported. The van was fully involved in close proximity to a building when crews arrived but they were able to confine the fire to the van and a small area of grass.
