BOURNE – A pickup truck reportedly crashed into the rear of an oil truck in Bourne about 10:30 AM Tuesday. The collision happened on Sandwich Road near the Midway Recreational Area rest stop. The pickup driver was transported to Falmouth Hospital with unknown injuries. Heavy traffic delays were reported in the area as officials worked to determine if there was any leakage from the fuel truck. Further details were not immediately available.
Update from Bourne Police: BPD is investigating a crash on Sandwich Road in the area of the Midway Recreation Area. Travel is limited to one lane of alternating traffic at this time. Expect delays. While the crash does have injuries, they appear minor at this time.
