Wheel comes off Jeep triggering crash on alley section of Route 6 in Harwich

HARWICH – A two-vehicle crash occurred on the alley stretch of Route 6 near the Harwich/Dennis town line about 5:40 PM Thursday. A wheel apparently came off a Jeep striking a vehicle going the other way. No injuries were reported but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Traffic was tied up in the area until the scene was cleared. Mass State Police are investigating the incident.
