YARMOUTH – Yarmoith Police report that on Monday, a knock-and-announce search warrant was obtained from First District Court of Barnstable authorizing the search of 9 Gill Avenue in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts. The search warrant authorized police officers to search for cocaine, a Class B controlled substance, and evidence related to the distribution of cocaine. The search warrant also authorized the search of Christian Verdoliva, 23, of Yarmouth, and any persons present in the location. The search warrant was obtained based on probable cause developed during the investigation into the distribution of Cocaine by Verdoliva (right).
On Thursday, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Yarmouth Police Department drug enforcement unit Detective Scott Lundegren, along with Detective Sergeant Kalil Boghdan and Yarmouth police officers Nicholas Ambrosini, Sean Gannon and K9 Thor, Christopher VanNess, and Sean Geary executed the search warrant.
All subjects at the home were secured and a search of the residence was conducted. During the search, several knotted plastic baggies containing a white powder (cocaine) were recovered from Verdoliva’s downstairs room along with several large containers and glass jars containing marijuana, numerous plastic baggies of various sizes, 2 cell phones and 3 digital scales.
Additionally, recovered from the upstairs bedroom belonging to Verdoliva were several shoeboxes filled with cash and coins.
The following items were seized during the search:
- Cocaine in knotted baggies (approximate gross weight 6.6 grams)
- Marijuana in various containers (approximate gross weight 11 oz (308 grams))
- Orange pills Imprinted B777 (Adderall)
- Orange capsules imprinted R3061 (Adderall)
- Blue Round Tablet Imprinted 031R (Alprazolam)
- Paperwork belonging to Christian Verdoliva
- Baggies in box
- 3 digital scales
- 2 cell Phones
- 3 camera wireless monitoring system
- Digital scale weights
- Narcotics baggies 1X1
- Narcotics baggies 2X2
- US Currency xash totaling $ 5,161.00
Christian Verdoliva was placed under arrest for possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance(cocaine), possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance (marijuana), and possession with intent to distribute a Class E substance (adderall and alprazolam) 3 counts. Subsequent to the execution of the search warrant, Verdoliva was transported to Yarmouth Police Department headquarters where he was booked, processed and scheduled for arraignment in the Barnstable District Court.
