Mayo Beach is on the smaller side, the water is calm and warm, and the beach is bordered by tall grasses. The view is beautiful, with boats heading in and out of the harbor, and the dunes of Great Island provide a relaxing scene. If the kids get bored with the beach, there’s a playground at Baker’s Field across the street. Beach sticker required.
