South Cape holds a wide variety of coastal environments, including barrier beach and dunes, salt marsh, scrub oak/pitch pine woodland and “kettle” ponds. A magnificent white sand beach stretches for over a mile. It has newly constructed boardwalks, a small parking area and bathrooms.
