Plymouth Rock

When you’re planning a trip with friends or family, you probably would like to see some tourist attractions wherever you’re going…they are there for tourists, after all.  However, some of them just aren’t much of a sight to see!  People on the website Reddit, were having a discussion about the most overrated places in the U.S., so perhaps you might want to skip these and make time for something else instead!

10. The Mall of America in Minnesota: Why? “It’s just a big mall.”

9. Bourbon Street in New Orleans: Why? “It’s just a lot of people getting drunk without the New Orleans culture.”

8. The Rocky Statue in Philadelphia: Why? It’s not at the top of the museum steps, but rather off to the side.

7. The Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota: Why? “It’s a building with some corn glued on a wall.”

6. The Hollywood Walk of Fame in L.A.

5. Time Square in New York City.

4. Plymouth Rock in Massachusetts: Why? “It’s just a [bleeping] rock.” (Their words, not mine!)

3. The American Side of Niagara Falls: Why?  “It doesn’t even have a good view.”

2. Waikiki in Hawaii: Why?  “It’s the ugliest part of the island.”

1.  Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco.
