Twenty Three artists from Cape Cod will come together for the first of its kind art exhibition on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Osterville Historical Museum. The setting for this important art show is the Museum and the lovely grounds on West Bay Road in Osterville. Two large tents will be set up with artist’s work for show and sale. The artists are from Provincetown to Sandwich and each has their own specialty of art. This inaugural art show will have some of the finest artists on Cape Cod.

Christine Frisbee, chair of the show, said how pleased they were to have almost all of the artists who were asked say “yes” to the invitation to come.  The goal was to have a sophisticated art show with artists of many mediums in one setting. This has not been done on Cape Cod before with such outstanding artists.

Among the artists will be Susan McLean, who will have her oil paintings of seascapes, children and familiar Cape Cod scenes, Hiram Ball, a figurative sculptor from Harwich,  Pairpoint, the oldest glass maker in the United States and Christine Frisbee, of Osterville, showing both contemporary and traditional landscapes in oil.

Living in New York and London, Christine feels it is important to gather artists as a celebration of talent and community. “The Cape offers a perfect setting for an art show and Art @ The Museum promised to be a true celebration.” Christine says.
