Annual Cranberry Cluster All Breed Dog Show

The Cape Cod Kennel Club and the South Shore Kennel Club proudly present their Annual Cranberry Cluster All‐Breed Dog Shows beginning on Thursday, September 14th and running  through Sunday, September 17th at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds on Route 151 in Falmouth,  MA.  Judged competitions include conformation, rally and obedience.  In addition to the regular classes, there will be the Puppy Spectacular featuring the finest puppies aged 6 months to 12 months competing for “Best Puppy in Show” on Thursday & Friday, and the AKC National Owner‐Handled Series on Saturday and Sunday. There are also “Specialty Shows” and “Supported Entries” on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  These events attract larger numbers of those breeds than the average show and are only held once or twice a year.

Everyday there will be Junior Showmanship competitions, showcasing younger handlers, and Obedience and Rally Trials, showcasing trainers and their well-behaved dogs.

Judging starts each day, rain or shine, at approximately 8:30 a.m. and finishes mid‐afternoon with Best in Show.

 

Thursday September 14th, the Cape Cod Kennel Club will start FOUR days of dog shows & trials with their 105th Annual All‐Breed Conformation Show, Obedience & Rally Trials, along with the Puppy Spectacular! There is also a Supported Entry for the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the U.S. and the American Beauceron Club.

Friday, September 15th, the South Shore Kennel Club will hold their 95th All-Breed Conformation Show, Obedience & Rally Trials, along with Specialty Shows for the Dalmatian Club of Southern NE and the Bulldog Club of America. There will also be Supported Entries for the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the U.S. and the American Beauceron Club, as well as another Puppy Spectacular!

Saturday September 16th the South Shore Kennel Club will hold their 96th Annual All‐Breed   Conformation Show, Obedience & Rally Trials, along with Specialty Shows for the Bulldog Club of New England, the Rhode Island Boxer Club, the Norwegian Elkhound Minutemen Association, the Dalmatian Club of Southern NE, the Mayflower German Shorthaired Pointer Club, and the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the US as well as supported entries  the Irish Wolfhound Association of New England, the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of  Nashoba Valley, the Glen of Imaal Terrier  Club of America, the Empire Saluki Club, and the American Beauceron Club.  In addition, The Rhode Island Boxer Club and the American Beauceron Club are having Concurrent Specialties that day.

On Sunday September 17th the Cape Cod Kennel Club will hold their 106th Annual All‐Breed Conformation Show, Obedience & Rally Trials. There will also be Specialty Shows for the Mayflower German Shorthaired Pointer Club and the Bulldog Club of New England, along with Supported Entries for Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the US, the Dalmatian Club of Southern NE, the Norwegian Elkhound Minutemen Association, the Rhode Island Boxer Club, and the Scottish Terrier Club of New England, the Dalmatian Club of Southern NE, and the American Beauceron Club.

In addition to the shows, there is also a DOG EYE CLINIC on Sunday from 9 to 4 and is $40/dog, $35 to Cape Cod KC members. Exams will be given by Marcia Aubin, DVM, MS, DACVO Board Certified Ophthalmology
