College Light Opera Closes Season with Jubilee Gala!

The College Light Opera Company will soon wrap up its 2018 season, and will do so in style with a Jubilee Gala extravaganza that is not to be missed!
Enjoy special cabaret performances featuring star alumni, including Karen Leigh Campbell, David Cantor, Alexa Devlin, Maria Failla, Christian Figueroa, John Greico, Nick Kohn, Marissa Kohn, David Kravitz, James Mills, Kristen Plumley, Angela Smith and current company members.

The celebrated alumni who will perform are returning for this event from their current successful careers in theatre, performing with companies across the country and around the world. Here are just a few examples of what they’ve been doing since their days at the College Light Opera Company.

James Mills has many successes under his belt, and continues to perform as part of the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players as a principle comic baritone. He has toured across the country as well as in the UK, performing in the International G&S Festival. Karen Leigh Campbell had a 26-year Naval career, where she performed as a singer in the Sea Chanters, as well as a producer and public affairs officer. She has performed at the White House, at Carnegie Hall, the Vatican and many other notable venues. David Cantor has made a career both on stage and television, appearing in Orange is the New Black, Madame Secretary, and Redrum, among others.

The event will be celebrated on Sunday, Aug.26, with a Gala Luncheon at beautiful Highfield Hall, followed by a matinee performance at 2 p.m. right next door at historic Highfield Theatre. Or, you can opt for the Gala Dinner, also at Highfield Hall, followed by an evening 8 p.m. performance at Highfield Theatre.

The cost for the Gala Luncheon and matinee is $125, and the Gala Dinner and evening performance is $150. A limited number of performance-only tickets are available for $75. Don’t miss out on this wonderful event, full of music and talent.

HIghfield Hall and Highfield Theatre are both located on Highfield Drive, in Falmouth, where plenty of free parking is available. For tickets or more information, call 508-548-0668 or email [email protected]. The event will be sure to sell out, so get your tickets now!
