Get your green on early with this annual two-mile parade featuring bands, dancers, and vintage cars. This year’s parade is in honor of Sgt. Sean Gannon and his K9 partner Nero, who together marched in last year’s parade, and the Grand Marshal will be retired Yarmouth Police K9 Officer Peter B. Yarmouth Irish Festival, Sat, 3/9, ALL DAY, Old Yarmouth Drive-In

Plenty of free parade parking, then enjoy live Irish music all day in large heated tents from some of your favorite local Irish bands. Children 12 & under free – tickets $5.00 in advance or $10.00 at the gate. Gates open at 10 AM.

Mangia Al Museo, Sat, 3/9, 5:30 PM, Cape Cod Museum of Art

Enjoy a great meal at the Museum as local restaurants compete in “Best Pasta Sauce Contest.” Your ticket price allows you to choose a handmade bowl that’s been individually crafted and designed by pottery students at the museum. Fill the bowl with pasta or spiralized veggies, and sample the sauces to choose your favorite. Dessert, Cape Cod Beer, and wine will be served. 15th Annual Polar Plunge, Sun, 3/10, Noon, Falmouth Heights Beach

The British Beer Company is hosting the plunge to benefit Belonging to Each Other, a local nonprofit that provides temporary housing and support for Falmouth’s homeless.
