Family Friendly Activities

There are ton of activities on the Cape for the whole family to enjoy. Going bowling, ice skating and sledding can be a real treat for everyone. Heading out to see a movie or a play are also other choices.

Visit a Museum or Aquarium

The Cape has a number of museums, with everything from the Natural History Museum to the Cape Cod Museum of Art. You can also visit places like the Woods Hole Science Aquarium to see all sorts of aquatic life.

A Staycation

Staying here on the Cape is always an option. Take this vacation to spend more time visiting local attractions in the Cape’s 15 towns. Consider staying at a place like the Cape Codder Resort, where the kids can enjoy the wave pool and you will be at a central location with access to many fun attractions.

Spend Time Outdoors

Even in colder weather, the Cape is still beautiful place to explore. Rather than spending time inside and if the weather permits, heading out to one of Cape Cod’s many trails and bike paths is a great idea. Walking along the beach is also an alternative.

Go Shopping

Head over to the Cape Cod Mall and browse the various stores or head out and explore all the smaller stores spread throughout the Cape.

Volunteer

Volunteering on the Cape is a great way to help out local organizations and also have a fantastic time yourself. You can meet new people and help others, which can be a very rewarding experience. Try volunteering at a location like the Cape Cod MSPCA.

Grabbing a bite to eat on the Cape is easy with so many locations to choose from. Whether you are looking for waterfront dining, bar food, healthy food or something else, the Cape has something for everyone.

Attend a Workshop

Try attending one of the many workshops happening across the Cape. There are many locations offering different types of workshops, so you are sure to find something that suits you. One such workshop is the garden workshop that takes place at Hyannis Country Garden.
