Cape Abilities Harbor Walk, Sat, 5/18, 9 AM, Hyannis Village Green
This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Cape Abilities – all proceeds go toward their mission to make life better for individuals with disabilities on Cape Cod. The 2.2 mile walk route includes Hyannis Harbor – and is enjoyable for all ages and abilities. Capeabilities.org

Wildflower Garden Plant Sale, Sat, 5/18, 9 AM, Thornton Burgess Nature Center
In addition to a limited number of wildflowers dug from the Nature Center’s own garden, browse annuals, perennials, and small trees and shrubs for shaded, sunny, and wet areas. Thorntonburgess.org

Suicide Awareness Walk, Sat, 5/18, 10 AM, Eldredge Park, Orleans
Come help spread awareness and raise money for suicide prevention on the Cape. This is a three-mile loop walk, and all proceeds go to three local non-profits; the Samaritans on Cape Cod and the Islands, the Cape and Islands Suicide Prevention Coalition and Sharing Kindness, Inc. to provide education and advocacy for suicide prevention. If you would like to honor someone at the walk who has been lost to suicide, please consider bringing a photo of your loved one to the walk for the Memory Walls. 1st annual SeaFair, Sat, 5/18, 10-2, Sandwich Glass Museum

Part of a series. Walk through the herbs and veggies and learn the tricks of the trade for growing your own from Country Garden expert, Roberta Clark. Meet on the patio promptly at 3:00. Rain or shine.

10th Glenna Kohl Piggy Trot, Sun, 5/19, 10 AM, Dowses Beach, Osterville
3.7 mile road race for melanoma prevention and awareness. Refreshments and entertainment will immediately follow the race. Glennasfund.org

12th Annual YPD Blue 5K Run For A Reason, Sun, 5/19, 11 AM, Skipper Chowder House
A flat 3.1 mile course that runs along the ocean. A kids fun run at 10:00 am starts things off. Auction items and raffles to benefit the Yarmouth Police Relief Association, and other Memorial funds. Register using the link on the event’s Facebook page.
