Mabel previously lived in a pretty quiet spot, and had a hard time with the transition to life in a busy urban environment. She will have the most success in a quieter, lower-traffic home, and would prefer not to have to see or interact with a lot of other dogs, please!
Mabel prefers to be the star of the show, so while she might like to share the stage with children who can follow her management and training plan, she would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Mabel is ready to bring a whirlwind of fun and endless snuggles into your life, so stop by the shelter today to inquire about her if you are interested in this squishy pocket pittie.
Stop by our Cape Cod Adoption Center to meet Mabel. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 1pm-4pm – no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.

Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
