BREWSTER – An artist and scenic painter from Brewster has his work on exhibit through the end of the month at The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.
The Naturescape Gallery is a rotating art exhibit which features artists from Cape Cod and the rest of New England located in the museum’s auditorium.
“A Walk Around Wing Island” features the work of Mark Roderick, which can be described as minimalist or objective abstract.
Growing up on Cape Cod has been instrumental to Roderick’s artistic vision with most of his inspiration being drawn from natural beauty and ancient monuments.
Roderick studied fine arts, theater and history with a special interest in painting and mosaics at Cape Cod Community College and Sarasota Technical Institute.
The exhibit is free with museum admission. The museum’s hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
