Broadway Backwards At Cotuit Center for the Arts

COTUIT – The Cotuit Center for the Arts is presenting “Broadway Backwards”, a fundraiser that features local artists as they perform great songs of musical theatre with a twist: The men sing songs intended for women and vice versa.

The concept premiered in New York in 2006, and was designed to raise funds for Broadway Cares, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for the LGBT community center in New York City.

The Cotuit Production features David Kuehn, Mathew Gould, Celeste Howe, Beau Jackett, Tedi Marsh, Martha Paquin, Rebecca Riley, Christopher Schultz, Sara Sneed, And John Weltman.

Songs from Hamilton, Into the Woods, Chicago, Grease, Wicked, Sweeney Todd, and more will Be Featured.

The event is August 21st at 8 P.M. and tickets Range from 25-30 Dollars and can be purchased at artsonthecape.org or by calling 508-428-0669.
