Burn Bans In Place On Cape As Fire Weather Danger Remains

HYANNIS – Towns across Cape Cod have implemented bans on outdoor burning this month until further notice.

The National Weather Service has the region under a continued Red Flag Warning because of extremely dry conditions and gusty winds. Any fires that start may spread rapidly and become difficult to extinguish.

The weather service is asking residents to heed warnings from local fire departments.
