CENTERVILLE – The Cahoon Museum of American Art has announced a list of upcoming programs and events for the month of June.

The month kicked off on June 7 with an Artist Gallery Talk with Pam Boden. Boden discussed exhibiting artists in Exquisite Shells.

On Tuesday, June 11, Museum Director and Exhibition Curator Sarah Johnson will lead a Director’s Gallery Tour. Johnson will bring participants around the museum to learn about the History of Sailors Valentines.

The museum is celebrating Father’s Day with free admissions for all dads. Fathers can bring someone special along with them to enjoy the museum’s new exhibitions and features.

On Friday, June 21, the museum will host a Director Gallery Talk with Ralph and Martha Cahoon. Johnson will once again attend this event.

Finally, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 11:00 a.m., the museum will be holding Docent Spotlights. Stop by the museum and spend 20 minutes with a trained docent who will offer a deeper understanding to the museums story while bringing a collection of exhibits to life. The event runs at 2:00 p.m. on the first and third Fridays of the month.
