Cape Air Offering Year-Round Service to Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard and NYC

HYANNIS – Starting September 16, Cape Air will begin offering year-round expanded service between Barnstable Municipal Airport, Nantucket Memorial Airport and Martha’s Vineyard Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to grow our New York City service, while offering even more options for the Cape & Islands to reach hundreds of additional destination markets,” said Linda Markham, President of Cape Air. “Our initial JFK service proved to be a valuable way for our island communities to easily access Metropolitan New York during off peak season, but the demand for more was there. We look forward to expanding our connections and making it even easier for passengers to access the national system year round.”

Cape Air’s New York City flights are located in Terminal 5, the center of JetBlue’s JFK operation, allowing easy connections to hundreds of domestic and international flight options.

Cape Air has agreements with most major carriers allowing baggage check-through and a single itinerary.
