ORLEANS – The chair and CEO of Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank has been named one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking for the eighth straight year.
American Banker placed Dorothy Savarese at number 12 on this year’s list.
Honorees are recognized for their professional achievements, strength of the institutions they serve and their influence in the financial services industry.
American Banker highlighted her role in leading Cape Cod 5 and the organization’s innovative approach to adopting new and emerging technologies to help customers meet financial goals.
She was also recognized for her advocacy for community banks and their capacity to continuously adapt to meet the changing expectations of consumers.
