HYANNIS – The Cape Cod Baseball League has announced the unveiling of their new “Peter Gammons Award for Excellence and Distinction” during their 133rd year.
“It is with greatest pleasure in announcing and naming this award after a true mentor to our league and the baseball community. Having known Peter for over 25 years there is no one who has provided the league with as much mentorship, partnership and helped us to evolve to where we are in the baseball community,” said Cape Cod Baseball League President, Chuck Sturtevant.
The award will be given to a person(s) or an organization that has made unique and exceptional contributions to the league through development and performance.
