Cape Cod Coffee to Replace Centerville Pie Company at Barnstable Airport

HYANNIS – Chicken pies are being swapped out for coffee and pastries at the Barnstable Municipal Airport.

Centerville Pie Company will no longer occupy the restaurant space at the airport’s terminal. The airport has struck an agreement with Mashpee-based Cape Cod Coffee to take over the space in the near future.

The agreement was signed last week.

“We are very excited to be at the airport and we believe it’s a perfect fit for us as we continue to build out brand and customer loyalty throughout New England,” said owner Jan Aggerback, who runs Cape Cod Coffee with his wife, Pam.

The company has been in business for 47 years and operates a store at Mashpee Commons.

“We are thrilled to have Cape Cod Coffee as our new partner and look forward to the smell of fresh coffee throughout the terminal,” Airport Manager Bud Breault said.

The official opening date has not yet been announced.

In addition to coffee, airport officials say the cafe will sell pastries, bagels, grab and go salads, muffins, sandwiches, and chips.

Centerville Pie Company had operated at the airport since April 2016.
