Cape Codder Resort Brightens Holidays For Independence House

HYANNIS – If you’re planning to visit the 16th annual Cape Cod Enchanted Village, you are asked to please bring a gift card, new toy or non-perishable food item for the Giving Tree.

The Village will be at the Cape Codder Resort’s courtyard from December 1st through New Year’s Eve.  It will light up each day at dusk.

Santa will visit every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 8pm. Children will be able to give him  present requests and have their picture taken.

The Cape Cod Surftones will be spreading cheer playing holiday songs throughout the resort. In addition, there will be four free holiday concerts on Saturdays at 7pm.

All donations go to Independence House, Cape Cod’s leading resource, counseling and advocacy center to address and prevent domestic and sexual violence.

Last year, 114 women with children and 48 teens and children in their programs benefited from the generous donations made by the Village’s visitors.

The Resort hopes that each year will exceed the previous one’s donations.
