Community College to Host Workforce Training Program

HYANNIS – The Center for Corporate and Professional Education (CCAPE) at Cape Cod Community College (CCCC) is holding a free Information Session for employers on the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program next week.

The Workforce Training Fund awards grants to businesses to fund training for current and newly hired employees. Attendees will learn how to tap into this expansive program that helps employers invest in employees to increase efficiency, expand into new markets and boost profitability.

The information session provides an overview of all of the Workforce Training Fund programs (WTFP) available. Topics covered include the features and requirements of each program, funding availability, and application process.

Following the session, participants should be able to determine which grants are best suited for their business needs and know how to begin the application process.

Attendees will also learn more about CCAPE’s Management Academy and Senior Leadership Training Programs that are being funded through the WTFP’s Small Business Direct Access Grant.

The courses are designed to help emerging managers and existing executives across their organizations reach new levels of success. Each program consists of 24 hours and will be held in four 6-hour sessions taught by industry experts.

The program is scheduled for Friday, December 7, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Hyannis Center located at 540 Main Street.

Registration is required to attend. For more information contact Manager of Employer Relations and Contract Training Michelle Constantino at 508-375-5014.
