Community Picnic in Falmouth to Support Legal Migrants

FALMOUTH – Faith-based groups in Falmouth will hold a community picnic next week to raise funds for migrants trying to enter the United States legally along the southern border.

Residents and visitors are invited to Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church Wednesday, August 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. to make donations to the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society and Annunciation House in El Paso.

Faith centers are asked to provide food, including sandwiches, clean vegetables, desserts and beverages to be shared with others.

Further information is available from the Church of the Messiah by calling 508-548-2145.
