Julian Cyr
TRURO – State Senator Julian Cyr has received four more endorsements from environmental and social advocacy groups, the Massachusetts Sierra Club, the Environmental League of Massachusetts Action Fund, the National Association of Social Workers, Massachusetts and The Clean Water Action group have all backed Cyr’s reelection bid.
“From stemming the opioid epidemic to serving the chronically homeless and mentally ill, social workers are on the front lines of some of the biggest challenges we face on the Cape and Islands,” said Senator Cyr in responding to the Association of Social Workers backing. “I am proud to stand with social workers and I am honored to receive their support.”
Earlier this election season Cyr garnered the support of the Coalition for Social Justice and Massachusetts Peace Action.
Cyr will face Republican Barnstable Town Councilor John Flores in the fall election.
