COTUIT – Daniel G. Vincent, tragically passed away in a car accident on Rt 28 in Waquoit on January 31, 2017. Dan was born May 27, 1983 in Cape Cod Hospital to Robert Vincent & Susan Hersey. He attended Barnstable schools and went on to Cape Cod Tech where he studied carpentry. During his years there he met his soulmate, mother of his children, and life partner, Heather Lescault. After graduation, Dan began his employment at Shepley Wood Products, nicknamed Vinny, he was considered a valued and loved employee. He continued his family’s tradition of bowling and attending Boy Scouts. He was a diehard Patriots fan and enjoyed talking about the Pats with friends and relatives. The greatest joy of his life however, was playing with his family and acting silly with his children, nieces, nephews and cousins. Dan made us laugh, feel young, and appreciate the little things in life.
Dan is survived by his wife, Heather; daughter, Madelyn (13); son, Jacob (7) and soon to be born son, Landon; his parents; step-father Robert Hersey; sister, Leah Vincent; brother Robert Hersey; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Mariah, Shelby, Robert, Jacob, Lexi, James, Ryleigh, Levi, and Lucas; and a large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. All will miss him dearly.
