Democrats Receive Union Endorsements

BOSTON – The largest health care workers union in the state has endorsed three democrats for state office.

1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East is backing Julian Cyr, a candidate for State Senate in the Cape and Islands District, Dylan Fernandes, a candidate for State Rep in the Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket District,  and Matt Patrick, a candidate for State Rep in the Third Barnstable District.

The three candidates say they appreciate the endorsement.

Union Executive Vice President Tyrek D. Lee, Sr., says the Union is proud to support the candidates, Lee says they will stand with the Union on the issues.
