The Field of Flags is installed in honor of Veterans Day in Dennis.

SOUTH DENNIS – A sea of red, white and blue flags will wave over John Kelly Park from November 9-12.

Hundreds of flags will honor personal heroes, ranging from active armed forces, veterans, police officers, firefighters or one’s own personal champion.

The community event is hosted by the Baker-Xiarhos AMVETS Post 333. However, it is the public’s continued support that is the most critical in making this event a success.

All net proceeds from this event are donated to vetted charities, groups and/or individuals in need on the Cape.

Additionally, the committee is holding a drawing for a custom-made RMS “American Icon” motorcycle and two smaller prizes in a raffle. The drawings are on Sunday, November 11th at 12:00 p.m. All items can also be purchased at during the event.
