Dennis Voters Oust Incumbent Selectman, Re-Elect Another

DENNIS – Dennis voters re-elected incumbent selectman Sheryl McMahon, but rejected longtime selectman Paul McCormick in Tuesday’s election.

Christopher Lambton topped the ticket by more than 900 votes for a seat on the board.

Lambton is a local landscaper and former contestant on “The Bachelorette” reality show. He also hosts programs on HGTV.

In the race for Old Kings Highway Historic District Commissioner, incumbent Phillip Catchings was defeated by Nathan Salley.

There were uncontested races for moderator, D-Y Regional School Committee and water commissioners.

Voter turnout in Dennis was just under 27 percent.
