Falmouth’s Little Pond Place Receives State Subsidies

FALMOUTH – A Falmouth affordable housing project is one of 19 across the state to receive $57 million in subsidies.

The affordable rental housing awards fund the development, renovation and preservation of state housing opportunities.

Little Pond Place is a new 40-unit project that will be restricted to families earning less than 60 percent of the median income.

Four units will be restricted for families with less than 30 percent of median income.

The project will be supported with Low Income Housing Tax Credits and subsidy funds.

The town will also support the project with $750,000 in Community Preservation Act Funds.

“These rental housing awards support our Administration’s commitment to create more housing opportunities in neighborhoods across Massachusetts,” said Governor Charlie Baker.
