MASHPEE – The former superintendent of the Mashpee School District has taken a job in Uxbridge, after agreeing to end his employment in Mashpee earlier this year.
Brian Hyde recently started as the Uxbridge interim school business manager. His term as Mashpee superintendent ended in February when he and the school committee came to a $425,000 separation agreement.
The two sides amicably ended their employment relationship after Hyde was found not guilty of breaking and entering and trespassing at a student’s home in September 2015 during a residency check.
A Falmouth District Court judge ruled in February that prosecutors failed to prove the elements of the alleged crimes and ordered a directed verdict.
