SANDWICH – Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich will be providing activities from kids to adults of all ages during April vacation week from April 18th through the 21st.
This season’s special exhibit, Painted Landscapes: Contemporary Views, presents premier American contemporary landscape painters.
To complement the exhibit, experienced as well as budding artists have the opportunity to create art outdoors together.
At Hidden Hollow, an enchanting two-acre outdoor discovery and exploration area that includes a giant treehouse, families can work together to build a forest mobile kinetic sculpture, nature collage, or drip sand sculpture.
Families can also enjoy outdoor discovery on Heritage’s 100 acres of nature trails, woodlands, and gardens; admire gems of the automotive world in Heritage’s collection Driven to Collect—and even take a family portrait in a Model T.
From April 18-21, Heritage’s April Vacation program at The Hundred Acre School is enrolling children ages 4 to 8, who will enjoy daily STEM exploration and discovery adventures throughout Heritage’s 100 acres. Enrollment options include 4-day and 2-day full- and half-days.
