HYANNIS – It was 25 years ago next week that Hurricane Bob barreled into New England, scarring the coastline and leaving $1.5 billion in damage behind.

The CapeCod.com NewsCenter will take a look back next week at the storm that first developed in the Bahamas and raced up the Eastern seaboard before making landfall on Block Island.

And we’re looking for you to be part of the coverage.

Send us your photos and memories of the storm that left homes destroyed and some people on Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts without power for up to a month.

Email us your pictures and what you remember about the storm to [email protected].
