Hyannis-Based Catania Hospitality Sells John Carver Inn

HYANNIS – Hyannis-based Catania Hospitality Group has sold a resort it owned in Plymouth to another hotel company.

The 80-room John Carver Inn was purchased this week by Jamsan Hotel Management, which already owns other properties in Plymouth and Kingston.

The sale price was not released.

Catania Hospitality, which also owns the Heath ‘N Kettle restaurant chain, had owned the John Carver for three decades.

The hotel was first constructed as a Holiday Inn.

Catania will continue to own and operate the Dan’l Webster Inn in Sandwich and the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis.

According to its corporate website, Jamsan is a mid-sized national hotel management company based in Lexington.

They operate a variety of hotel properties in the North East United States.
