BARNSTABLE – The Greater Hyannis Civic Association will host the 2020 Economic Forecast event in January.
Attendees will meet specialists that will inform them on trends that will be impacting businesses in the future as well as upcoming opportunities and obstacles in 2020.
The event will have multiple speakers including Mark Ells, Barnstable Town Manager, Mike Lauf, CEO of Cape Cod Healthcare, and Dr. Mark Melnik, Director of Economic and Public Policy Research at the Donahue Institute.
Dr. Melnik is a specialist in demographic, socio-economic, and labor market issues across various fields of public policy research.
Some of his clients have included the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, the Boston Foundation, MassDOT, MassEcon, and Boston Private Industry Council, among others.
The event takes place Tuesday, January 21, from 8 to 9 am in the Cape Codder Resort and Spa.
The admission fee is $25 for members of the Greater Hyannis Chamber of Commerce and $35 for non-members.
