WELLFLEET – Volunteers with the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) helped rescue three stranded dolphins in Wellfleet on Wednesday.
The first dolphin was reported stranded near Lieutenant Island in Wellfleet and two others were found near the Chequessett Neck Road Bridge.
All three were examined, treated and tagged by IFAW before being released.
