HYANNIS–The Jr. Celtics will be hosting a youth basketball clinic for kids aged 5 to 14 at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Director of Youth Basketball and Development for the Boston Celtics Sam Taub explained what participants can expect.
“A super dynamic experience for kids, high energy, fun, learn a lot about the game of basketball. But, most importantly, just have a great time,” Taub said.
Celtics VIPs will be in attendants to participate in fun activities and drills. Each attendee will receive special Celtics merchandise and a goody bag.
“Last year was the first year we did it,” Taub said, in regards to this event.
“We had a tremendous turnout. The facility is incredible, the kids that were there were great…It was a no-brainer that we wanted to come back this summer and do it all again.”
