WEST DENNIS – The Cape Cod & Islands chapter of the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club will host the 43rd Annual Blessing of the Bikes next month.
The event is Sunday, May 5 at West Dennis Beach.
Gates open at 9:30 a.m. with the blessing to take place at noon.
The suggested minimum donation is $5 per bike and the event is rain or shine.
Last year there were nearly 1,000 motorcycles and an estimated 1,500 people participated. Proceeds will benefit the Blue Knights charitable endeavors.
Past charitable contributions included Blue Knights Special Fund, Bourne Police Officer Jared MacDonald, Cancer Research Institute and Yarmouth Police Sergeant Sean Gannon Memorial Fund.
