BARNSTABLE – Congressman Bill Keating was presented with a conservation-minded award this week.
The American Shore & Beach Preservation Association gave Keating the Friend of the Coast Award for his efforts on behalf of specific coastal projects.
Keating cited Town Neck Beach in Sandwich as just one example of the critical importance shoreline management has for many local towns.
