Signs on entrance door of the Market Basket in Sagamore show ousted CEO Arthur T. Demoulas.

SAGAMORE – Local Market Basket employees say they’re not backing down.

The company has decided to hold job fairs next week amidst protests by workers who want Arthur T. Demoulas reinstated as CEO.

Sagamore Market Basket Assistant Manager Jerry Banks said they won’t stop workers from protesting.

“This is the third if you want to call it “threat” that the CEOs have sent to the stores about getting back to work or they’ll be replacements on the way and we say ‘Go for it,’ because nobody else can do what we’re doing with this company and with these stores and they’ll see that eventually,” he said.

Banks says the workers are grateful to the support the public has given them.

“Everyday we take one day at a time. We’re standing strong here and we’re confident with what we’re doing. We can’t worry about that right now. We’re doing our jobs,” he said.
