CHATHAM – The Monomoy Dollars for Scholars is holding a fundraiser with Monomoy High School students to raise money for scholarships for Monomoy High School graduates.
The mission of Monomoy Dollars for Scholars is to provide financial assistane to graduating seniors.
A Hoop-A-Thon will take place on March 17 in the gym at Monomoy High School and all high school classes are eligible to participate.
Students participating will be out collecting pledges and donations.
The pledges will be based on the number of free throws they can make in five minutes and pledge forms will be due on March 10.
Those looking to support the high school students can send donations to: Monomoy Dollars for Scholars, P.O. Box 244. North Chatham, MA 02650.
There will be a $50 gift card and $250 scholarship to be awarded at the student’s graduation for the highest scoring female and male.
