Multiple Cape Cod Towns Receive Environmental Grants

BARNSTABLE – Multiple Cape Cod towns have been named as recipients of environmental grants from the state.

The money was awarded to municipalities and organizations for wildlife habitat management, and were provided through the Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game’s Division of Fisheries and Wildlife’s Habitat Management Grant Program.

The towns included are Barnstable, Edgartown, Mashpee, Nantucket, Sandwich, and Yarmouth, with each receiving up to $25,889 for various wildlife-improving programs.
