North Shore Ensemble to Highlight Final Sandwich Concert Series Performance

EdenSANDWICH – The final concert in the Sandwich village Concert Series presented by the Sandwich Arts Alliance will feature North Shore chamber ensemble Music at Eden’s Edge, who will perform The Edge of Greatness.

The concert will take place at Sandwich Town Hall on Saturday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m.

It will be the first Cape Cod appearance for the ensemble, and The Edge of Greatness explores the works of three composers —Franz Schubert, Maurice Ravel and Andrew Norman, on the edge of achieving greatness.

Works will include Shubert’s String Quartet in E-Flat Major, Ravel’s Sonata for Violin and Cello, and Norman’s The Companion Guide to Rome, the latter being a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize in music.

In existence since 1982, Music at Eden’s Edge has combined music with the serenity and beauty of the North Shore and has brought music to school children, seniors and thousands of concertgoers.

Tickes for the April 23 performance are $20 for adults, $10 for students, and may be purchased in advance at Splash Stationers located at 126 Route 6A in sandwich or online.
