HYANNIS – It’s Thanksgiving and a number of offices, stores and locations are closed for the holiday.
Post offices across the Commonwealth are closed Thursday but will re-open tomorrow. There will also be no mail delivery on Thanksgiving, but full delivery operations will resume Friday.
FedEx and UPS offices and delivery services are also closed Thursday, with the exemption of their custom critical service.
All school districts, banks, public libraries, town offices, transfer stations and courts on the Cape are closed.
Stop and Shop, Shaw’s and Star Market are open on holiday hours but BJ’s Wholesale and Market Basket is closed.
The Cape Cod Mall is also closed Thursday but will be opening for Black Friday at 12:30am and will remain open until 9pm.
