Osterville Library Offering Virtual Reality Tour of Anne Frank House

OSTERVILLE – The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is announcing the upcoming virtual reality tour of the Anne Frank House.

As the world recognizes International Holocaust Day on January 27, the library is offering a virtual reality tour from the Library’s Makerspace that puts you in the Netherlands with the Oculus Rift.

The Anne Frank House organization has personally reached out to the OVL and is excited to hear feedback from our patrons about their experience with the virtual reality.

Call today to book a time for the virtual tour any day from January 22-31st.

The tour lasts about 30 minutes and will allow people from around the world to experience the Secret Annex that served as the hiding place for Anne Frank and seven other people. The experience tours all of the rooms of the Secret Annex, which are still furnished as they were during the war.

Sign up at the Osterville Village Library circulation desk or call at 508-428-5757 to try the new virtual reality technology.

The program will take place in the Library’s lower level Makerspace.
