HYANNIS – Barnstable police are looking for a suspect involved in a stabbing incident near the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis early this morning.
Barnstable Police Sergeant Sean Sweeney said three 23-year-old men were walking back from bars last night when they say they came across a couple were in a domestic dispute.
They intervened and a scuffle broke out.
Upon returning home, the victim discovered he had been stabbed while he and his friends were intervening and was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with a small stab wound.
The suspect is believed to be about 5’10 and in his late 20s.
