“Possible Dreams” Fundraiser to be Held Later This Month

OAK BLUFFS – Martha’s Vineyard Community Services announced that this years “Possible Dreams” fundraiser event will take place later this month at the historic Tilton Farm in West Tisbury.

The agency’s largest fundraiser, “Possible Dreams” benefits the six core programs of MVCS that serve a third of the Islanders every year.

“It’s the largest fundraiser for Martha’s Vineyard community services and this fundraiser is to help raise funds that help offset the unfunded costs in each of the six programs of community services,” said Chair Liza May.

This year, MVCS welcomes back professional fundraising auctioneer Sherry Trulhar of Red Apple Auctions, and the Fund-a-Need auction, giving bidders the opportunity to raise their paddles to donate at a level that is comfortable to them in order to help solve a pressing issue on Martha’s Vineyard.

Additional features of this year’s event include: Possible Dreams Raffle, a Golden Ticket Raffle, Super Dreams Online Auction, 12 Dreams of Summer including unique, sought after Vineyard experiences.

The event will also feature live entertainment, savory fare and assorted beverages.

Since its inception, “Possible Dreams” has raised over $8 million for Martha’s Vineyard Community Services.

“Our six programs serve well over 6,000 people every year, which is pretty staggering,” continued May.

“We serve people who live full time on the island, or seasonal residents, or even those who are visiting the island.”

“Possible Dreams” will take place Sunday, July 28th, 2019 at 52 Middle Road in West Tisbury.

Tickets are $100 per person, for more information visit www. Mvcommunityservices.com/possibledreams.
